“Locally Founded, La Costa Valley Preschool & Kindergarten Celebrates 25 Years
La Costa Valley Preschool & Kindergarten is celebrating 25 years of providing our community with early education programs for young children.
The school was known as Los Ninos Preschool & Kindergarten before relocating to the La Costa Valley area. The original location was leveled for redevelopment of the La Costa Plaza shopping center. Gelson’s now occupies the site that was once Los Ninos Preschool & Kindergarten.
Walking into the lobby you are genuinely welcomed with smiles. This begins the happy adventure at this nationally accredited school founded by local residents for our unique North County communities in 1991. A walk through the campus continues the experience. It may yield pirates on a treasure hunt, a musical in rehearsal, children reading, artists creating, athletes climbing a rock wall, gardeners planting, chefs cooking , engineers constructing bridges, and flannel stories being shared. Observe the children and their instructors, and the giggles and laughter that fill the air as the children enjoy their school learning adventures.
North County Sun Publisher, Andy Lee, says, “My daughter, Serena, attended La Costa Valley Preschool from the age of 21⁄2 to 5 years old. The school was very clean, professional, enriching, educational, and fun. After graduating Pre-K at La Costa Valley Preschool, Serena was ableto skip public school kindergarten and go directly into first grade. She’s now a junior in college at the age of 19 and I couldn’t be happier. Maybe I can retire one year early!”
