SmartCare is Here!

If you have not yet done so, please download the SmartCare for Parents app on your phone and set up your parent account via the verification email, which was sent out again this past Friday to those who have not registered.

Try to have the app open and your sign in/out QR code pulled up before entering the school doors, for a quicker sign in/out process. Ms. Jeanne will be on campus to walk all parents through the procedure and assist those needing help with registration.

Have a nanny, friend, or family member that drops off or picks up your child regularly? No problem! We have QR key tags for those not required to have app access. Please let us know if we need to create a key tag for an individual on your pickup list.

School Show

Our annual school show date is approaching! Friday, July 20, children enrolled in the Caterpillar, Butterfly, and Ladybug programs will be preforming their favorite “Preschool Songs” for family and friends. Seats will be available for purchase, please keep an eye out for further information on chair orders, as they are sold on a first come- first served basis.

There will be two performance times, 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. children will only perform once, see times below for details.

We anticipate the performances will run approximately 45minutes, parents planning on taking their children out for a celebratory meal or home after the show are kindly asked to let their teachers know if their child will be returning to school.

Please remember, parking can be difficult on show day, if there is no parking available, please park across the street at the park and walk over the bridge, there is to be no parking on Calle Barcelona.

  • Caterpillars @ 9:00 & 10:30 (Rooms 5 & 2) teachers will be letting parents know this week which performance your child will be in.
  • Butterflies @ 9:00 (Room 4)
  • Ladybugs @ 10:30 (Room 3)

Boot Camps

There is still space available for our July & August Kindergarten & First Grade Boot Camps! These are a great opportunity for those wanting to expose their child to the kindergarten experience before they start their kindergarten year, and give them an extra boost into their elementary education! For those going into first grade, this gives your child the summer support they need to not only retain the information they learned this past year, but to surpass where their peers left off and steps ahead when they begin in the fall.

Sunscreen Reminder

Summer is in full swing and it’s starting to get sunnier! Please apply sunscreen to your child in the mornings, and teachers will reapply as needed. As a reminder, we are no longer allowed to have aerosol propelled spray sunscreens, we can only have air-powered sunscreens due to regulations. Need help finding a brand that uses air as it’s propellant? Ask a teacher to see approved sunscreens parents have brought in already 🙂

Ms. Joan’s Fundraiser

Besides being the best Kindergarten teacher around, Ms. Joan is also a fantastic author and artist of 2 children’s books. She will be selling her books at school and has graciously decided to donate half of the proceeds to go towards fun projects around campus! If you would like to purchase a book please stop by the front desk for an order form or simply click the link below to download the form.
