To whom it may concern and any parent struggling with teaching their spirited child,
My six year old daughter attended the First Grade Prep course for only two weeks at the end of the summer at LCVP&K with Mrs. Joan as her instructor. I cannot believe how happy and fortunate she was to have been a student of Mrs. Joan. Her teaching style and beautiful spirit really spoke to my daughter who is an extremely “strong willed, do-it-all-myself” kind of little girl. Not only did she thrive and excel beyond my belief, she exceeded both our expectations in reading and classroom behavioral skills. I can’t imagine how much she could have accomplished if she had attended the full summer program. My daughter loved being there and was encouraged to learn without the bad attitude we had been encountering in Kindergarten and learning at home too. Mrs. Joan is a special find in a teacher and I really wish I could have her as our 1st grade teacher in our elementary!
My heart was beaming everyday with good reports from this program and I am so pleased we came and spent time here. What a difference Mrs. Joan has made for the start of 1st grade!
