October was a month of fun learning with our guest speaker friends at our school. Engaging and interactive experiences in health with Tooth Kari – learning about dental hygiene and our friend Dolfi from Circle of Friends.
Super Dentist – Sparkly Clean Teeth Presentation
The Super Dentist visited our Butterfly, Ladybug, and Kindergarten classrooms to share with students about the importance of brushing their teeth regularly and eating growing foods to keep their teeth nice and healthy. Students were entertained by the Super Dentist who brought puppets and sang throughout her engaging presentation!
Circle of Education – Dolfi Visits Campus
Dolfi, the dolphin from the Circle of Education curriculum, visited our campus. It was a special treat! The Circle of Education curriculum is a social-emotional learning readiness program we use in each classroom to pair with our monthly activities and learning themes.
Dolfi joined in song, dance, reading and more. He even answered some very important questions posed by our Butterfly group!
At La Costa Valley Preschool and Kindergarten, we engage the whole child in learning experiences which help them to grow and prepare for success as they journey forward on their educational path.
